With gas rising by the minute sometimes, or so it seems, people are looking to purchase ‘hybrid’ vehicles. They are coming out with some really nice ones but I don’t think people are really looking at what they are purchasing. Sure they might get 2 or 5 miles per gallon than the ones that are not hybrid but how much more did you have to pay for it just because it is a ‘hybrid’? The extra cost will buy a lot of gas, you know. Why spend $5000 more to get just a few more miles per gallon when your extra payment for that hybrid would probably pay for that months gas to begin with? We’re grasping at the wrong straws the government and auto manufacturers are throwing at us. We need to be working harder on alternative sources of fuel and not a band aid over a broken arm.
