Starting Anew

Since my cousin was recently married, he has decided to start a new life in another city. He was offered a job with a major corporation and is going to move in order to take the job. Moving can be difficult at times because you have to start all over. But there are ways to make things easier. He asked me to help him find some Insurance Franklin, MA and I was happy to help. I knew just where to go to find it.

I was already familiar with a site called berryinsurance.com. They are able to offer a wide variety of insurance needs. I knew he would be able to get Homeowners Insurance Franklin, MA that he wanted. That would ensure that he and his new wife were protected against any problems that may occur to their home.

Another good feature of the site is that they offer even more. I was sure that he would be able to purchase any other insurance needs he may have such as Auto Insurance Franklin, MA. I am glad to do my cousin a good deed when I can and I felt really good about this. I am sure that he will be satisfied with the service he receives and will feel good knowing that he is protected from unplanned events!

A Union Win

The Machinists local union in Hartford Connecticut has scored a great victory for the U.S. in U.S. Federal court. The union sued the company of Pratt & Whitney in order to keep jobs from being shipped over seas. Their contract with the union requires that the company do everything possible to keep jobs in their state.

A federal judge issued an injunction against the company saying that they must comply with the contract. I am glad to hear that a judge has finally ruled for the people!

Revision

I was reading a report by Chris Isidore from CNNMoney.com that stated that job losses over the past year were even more than originally reported. The Labor Departments annual report listed that nearly 7 million jobs were lost in the U.S. the truth seems to be closer to around 8 million. I wonder how they could be so far off the mark.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics is revising their annual report to include 824,000 additional lost jobs in April 2008-March 2009. This will have a dramatic impact on the stock market as well as consumer confidence. They explain the large difference in numbers by saying their estimates were wrong. I believe that is self evident!

Key loggers and Security

Working in a large office can have its ups and downs. The people I work with are a constant source of joy and disappointment. It can be difficult to keep track of who is working and who is not doing their job. That’s one reason why I decided to use some high technology to help me find the answers. One tool I have found useful is a Key logger. The one I use is very high tech and stealthy. It allows me to check up on my staff and ensure that my company is getting their dollars worth for its payroll.

I hope that everyone won’t get me wrong and think that I am out to get people. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. I do believe that people are basically honest and try to give them the benefit of the doubt. But, there are those who need to be reminded that someone is watching. That’s why we had hidden cameras installed in some of the more sensitive areas of our building. I think it has added another layer of protection for our company and its employees.

I hope people won’t believe that my work is my only concern. My home and family are important to me as well. It’s another area where high tech devices can come in handy. Whenever I take my children out, I use a child locator device that helps me keep track of them. I would not like to tell my wife I lost a kid! Anyways, I believe that high technology is becoming ever more useful and people will just have to learn to take advantage of it at work and at home.

Censorship??

It seems there is trouble with our neighbor to the north. Canada has jumped into the internet tangle and has gotten fouled up. It seems that two websites supported by the activist group “Yes Men” released fake press releases that resembled those of the official Canadian Government. The government acted quickly to shut down the sites citing that the information was false. This is all well and good.

The problem was that during the shut down, hundreds of innocent sites were shut down as well. This caused a pouring of outrage from many website owners. It seems that the crisis is nearly over now and the sites have been restored. I hope the Canadian Government will remember their lesson well.

Birthdays

Since I mentioned before that my niece was having a birthday soon, I figured that I would mention a few of the gifts that I was thinking of getting for her. She will be three years old this year and I wanted to ensure that it will be a special time for her. The first thing I found was a stuffed animal from jellycat. It is the cutest thing and I am sure she’ll be excited to have it. She’ll be able to snuggle up with it at night and feel good about having a new friend.

Another thing that is important to me is that she stays in style with the rest of the kids on the block. One way to do this is to make sure she has cool clothes to wear. That’s why I looked at a nice little tee-shirt from appaman. It has a cute little kitten on it that I’m sure all her friends will love.

The last item I found for her was a cute little robe that was made by barefoot dreams. I am sure that she’ll be able to stay warm and comfy at night while wearing this apparel. I was surprised at how soft it really is and am thinking of getting one for myself. I’ll be having a birthday soon and maybe I’ll mention my find to those who love me most!

Too Sensitive

The news today is all about a remark that President Barack Obama made about Las Vegas. He said that people shouldn’t blow their money on vacationing in Las Vegas if they are saving for college, the mayor of Las Vegas has taken offence to this remark and another remark the president made in February. The president defends himself saying he was just making a point.

The president pointed out that he loves Las Vegas and has vacationed there before. I surely think that the folks in Vegas have far too thin skin. I believe the president’s point was correct and people in Vegas should just live with the truth.

Prospects

When my Uncle Charlie told me that his son was now in his junior year at a local college, I couldn’t believe how time had passed. It seems that only a few years ago his boy was a toddler. Any way, we got to talking about how his grades were at school when he told me the good news. It seems the boy is doing well thanks to an Online Tutor that has been helping him.

Times have changed some since I went to school and I hear it is a lot tougher. In order to succeed, you must have a good grasp of certain subjects. Math is always one subject that you must excel in and getting Math help can make all the difference in your grades. Charlie’s boy has taken advantage of every opportunity to increase his knowledge in the field of mathematics.

Charlie told me that his son found a secret that has helped him through his college years. He has used an Online Math Tudor to help him through the rough spots. He saves a lot of time by going online and has found the service reliable. Now that the boy will be graduating soon, we are all excited about his prospects. I am sure he’ll do well in the future and find his way to the top.

Getting Back on Track

In the recent State of the Union address to the nation, President Barack Obama announced that our country is finally on the right track as far as the economic recovery goes. While I am glad to hear that, there are still a lot of people who were hurt by the recession. One such person is a friend of mine named Tom who missed some payments and is now paying the price on his credit report.

I talked with Tom at length and we decided that he should think about using the services of one of the credit repair companies that are available. We went online in order to see what was out there and were satisfied when we discovered a site called repairyourbadcredit.com. It seemed that they had just the answer we were looking for as they could fix my credit, improve credit score, and make life easy again.

Now Tom is back on the right track with his finances and is looking forward to a great year. He will now be able to afford the car he wants to purchase and will have reliable transportation. I am glad that I was able to help Tom get his life back together. I am also glad that there are great companies out there who can help with the job!

State of the Union

I guess there was no way you could miss it if you had your TV on last night. President Barack Obama gave his first State of the Union speech to the nation. While I listened attentively for any thing new, I heard nothing of the sort. It seemed to me to be the same tired old speech that I have heard every president give. I hope he can do more with his politics than he did with his speech!
