After Dinner Chillaxing

Last Sunday’s family dinner was so good – my mom and sisters out did themselves this year! I know that I ate too much, but I couldn’t stop. I should have skipped dessert, but evidently I have no willpower when it comes to coconut cake. Besides, everyone else stayed seated at the table and kept eating, too. It would have been rude to get up and leave the table.

After dinner the guys went into my dad’s “man cave” and watched some TV. Dad has satellite and gets so any channels he never misses anything important. For only about $40 a month, he gets just about everything out there, including 61 HD channels. Since we all pitched in and bought him a flat screen HD TV at Christmas last year, getting all those HD channels from his Satellite TV is a really sweet feature.

This gave me a great idea for his birthday present this summer. I think we should pitch in and buy him the NFL special package on Direct TV called, The Sunday Ticket. This is only available on Direct TV and it gives you ALL he NFL games, with no restrictions like blackouts, and they are all in HD. Once you watch an NFL game in HD and see how much more detail there is, you can never go back to regular TV and enjoy the game as much. Trust me on this!

Happy 4th of July!!

Well, another year has rolled around and in a few days it will be time again to celebrate the 4th of July. This has always been one of my favorite holidays as I love to see the fireworks go off and explode in the sky! It’s also a great day to cookout and spend time with the family.

This year we plan to go watch the big fireworks display given at a local park. My only worry is that traffic will be bad and parking is always a problem. I hope we can find a good spot not to far away from the park. Anyway, I am sure we will have a good time as usual. I hope everyone else has a great time as well and remember to be safe!

Indian Elephants

The land of India is home to many endangered species. While the tiger is probably the most famous, the elephant is high on the list. Male Indian elephants have valuable ivory tusks. This has caused poachers to target them instead of females that don’t have them. The ratio of male elephants to female is in some cases as much as 100-1.

Another problem the elephants are facing is the growing loss of habitat. Development has interfered with their traditional traveling corridors. Efforts are under way to help the elephants through a variety of methods by the Indian government. I hope these efforts will work and these wonderful animals can be saved.

Good Vacations

There are a few times in life when you really get to enjoy yourself. I am planning to do just that when I go on vacation this year. I have been looking forward to this year’s vacation as it’s been so cold here lately. I am ready for some sunshine and green grass. That means staying at one of the Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Resorts that have all the amenities I need to enjoy myself.

One of my passions is the wonderful game of golf. I know where to go when I really want to play. I usually check in to a Myrtle Beach Resort in order to be close to the many courses that are in that area. The beach is one of my favorite places to visit when I’m ready to play a few rounds. No matter what time of year it is, the beach is always a fun place to visit. The sun and surf always put me in a good mood and I am able to relax. By staying at an Oceanfront Myrtle Beach resort, I ensure that I will be close to all the action on the beach. I enjoy the shopping as well as the nightlife. My vacation is very important to me and I am sure that I have made a good decision.

Great Jobs

There are many things I like about my job, but one of the best things is that I get to travel all over the country. The only problem with that is that it can be boring when you are stuck in a strange city with no-one to talk to. That’s why I was glad to find out about a site that can get you cheap seats. They were able to help me find tickets to some events like the New York Ranger Tickets I was able to purchase.

There was another time when I was able to find the hard to get Toyota Center Tickets so that I could view one of the WNBA games that was held that night. I certainly enjoyed that show and still remember it to this day. I had a great time and can’t wait to see the girls play again.

The best time I had was when I was able to score Ohio State Buckeyes Football Tickets. I got a great seat near the field and saw all the action. My friends were jealous and they all wished that they could come too. I guess that some jobs are better than others and I am glad that my job is a good one. I hope that you will take advantage of this great website whenever you are able to travel out of town!

Paying A Debt

Since the kids will be out of school in a couple of weeks, it’s time to pay off a debt. I had told my children that if they got good grades I would take them on a vacation to wherever they wanted to go. As you can imagine, the kids did their part and now its time to do mine. The only decision left was where to take them. It wasn’t long before I knew the answer when I saw their computer on a page about resorts in Myrtle Beach.

I have taken the kids there before and we had a great time. They both love the water and playing in the sandy beach. I also know that many of their friends have plans to visit the beach as well. It seems to be a popular destination for all the kids at their school. It’s also a great destination for adults as well. I was checking out their golf packages and was very impressed with the values I found there.

My wife is all for the idea as she enjoys the beaches as well. She likes to read her books while lying in the sun and working on her tan. She also likes to window shop along the many stores that are in the area. I found out she was looking online for more information about the area. I am sure that we will all have a good time on our vacation this year.

You’re Choice

One of my favorite things to do is to keep track of all the cars that are available. I love cars and trucks and like to keep tabs on the best ones. I have been doing some research into this area and have a few cars and trucks I’d like to mention. The first one is the cadillac escalade hybrid. This is a beautiful car that has a lot to offer. Not only is the gas mileage great, but it is a well built hybrid. Anyone who has concerns about the environment would be well satisfied with this vehicle. I like its looks and I know that the cadillac quality is contained therein.

The next vehicle that I would like to mention is one of my old favorites. It’s the hummer h3t and the new model is coming out this year. While in many ways it is steeped with the same old qualities we have come to expect, there are some new changes. This year’s model will have the capability to run on an up to 85 percent blend of ethanol. They also have some new color schemes to please the eye. All in all, it’s the same old standard but with a few improvements.

Whenever I want to have a nice vehicle for getting some work done, I turn to the gmc canyon. With its v8 power, it has all the pulling power I need to carry the loads I have. It is fairly fuel efficient and comes with many standard options. It is also one of the safest vehicles on the road as it has received the five-star crash tests scores. It is a likeable little truck that will grow on you over time.

The last thing I want to say is that all of these vehicles are very nice. You just have to determine what your needs are going to be. You can always go online in order to find out more info when necessary. Whatever one you choose, I am confident you will come away feeling good about your choice.

No Brainer

With the season for vacations coming on, it is time to start making a decision on where to take my family this year. I have discussed the situation with all the members of my family and we are all sure that we want to go to a beach. The only question was which beach to visit. I started to do some research online and found that there was one place that stood out above all the rest.

I was poking around the internet one day when I came across a site called avistaresort.com. I became interested and read the information they had prepared. I was impressed with all the information about a Myrtle Beach hotel that I think would be perfect for me and my family. It has something for everyone and would keep us all busy. There was some more good news as well.

Everyone knows that I have a passion for golf. I couldn’t imagine a better vacation than one where I get to play a few rounds. It seems that the area around all the resorts in Myrtle Beach is full of golf courses that would challenge even me. All this combined with the fact that my kids and wife want to go adds up to a no brainer decision. We will be at Myrtle Beach this year!

Woot

I won my match last night and I am stoked. My coach is happy as well, because we all won our individual matches and took the whole tournament. We are looking great for this season and have a really good chance at the finals. I would love to bring home a championship this year. We came so close last year, but were unable to pull the last couple of matches off. I am going to keep my fingers crossed and work extra hard. Time to hit the books though, talk to you people later.

Fun

Went out with the boys last night. We had a blast playing pool and watching whatever sports were on the big screen tvs. It was a really casual night. Usually we go clubbing and try to pick up women, but we really have gotten tired of it. I enjoy laid back nights when we just kind of hang out. It can get too hectic in the clubs sometimes. Dating is like a game to people and I really get tired of games.

I would rather just meet a girl who is real. No pretense, just be herself. It is much easier to relax that way. I can’t stand it when people put up a false front. I would rather just have fun. At least last night was relaxing.
