The Garage

Every once in awhile, it is prudent for me to spend some time in the garage. I love my woman, but sometimes it is necessary to let her have some breathing room. I don’t mind retreating into garage as there are many things I like about it. All my tools are there and I really enjoy using them whenever an odd project comes up. I can always work on the cars if I feel like it as well.

There are also other things to do as well. I have a dart board on the wall and may spend quite a bit of time playing the game. Sometimes I will work on the bikes and make sure they are in good condition. The garage is a place of refuge for me and I have grown to rely on its relaxing nature to keep me sane when times are hard!

Fun for the kids

One thing that my wife and I agree on is the fact that we love our children. We are always looking for new ways to make them happy. Whenever they do things well, such as a school project or test, we like to reward them. Sometimes this is a special meal or a movie. Other times, we get them their favorite toys. When we buy toys, we usually do it online.

There are many advantages to buying toys online. They are usually cheaper than a toy store and many times can be delivered free. You can also expect to find a variety of toys such as Action Figures. Our kids love them and there are always new ones coming out. Another area to find excellent deals is in the Classic Toys department. My wife and I love buying these toys as it reminds us of the toys we used to own. There is nothing like a reminder from the past to make us open our wallets!

As much as we like to buy our favorite toys, the children are usually taken with the latest Kids Electronic Toys. They are always attracted by the flashing lights and noises that they make. Some of these toys are really fun to play with and I wish we had them when I was young. All in all, whatever kind of toys we buy; the kids always appreciate them and spend hours playing.

My favorite places

My family is always on the lookout for new places to go. We love to travel and do so whenever we can. After talking it over with the kids, we all decided that we wanted to visit one of the Myrtle Beach Resorts that a friend of mine had told us about. He spoke about the beach, shopping, and other activities to do there and we wanted to try it out. The kids were especially excited about going.

My wife and I like to golf. We wanted to try out some new courses that we hadn’t played before and there are many courses in that area. Whenever you visit a Myrtle Beach Resort, you can count on the fact that you will have plenty to do. The kids were much more interested in visiting the beach. They love the water and like to play along the shore building their sandcastles.

The best part about the whole deal is that it’s a wonderful place to getaway to. No matter which of the many Myrtle Beach Hotels you visit, you can always count on the best service and accommodations. We enjoyed our visit there so much that we are planning another trip next year. I’ll have to thank my friend for informing us about this wonderful place, he certainly helped us enjoy our summer!

The cool crib

I found a pretty neat website I like the other day. My sister turned me onto it and I think it’s pretty cool. It’s called the cavemanscrib.com and I have been playing on it for the last day or two. I’m sure you all remember the caveman from the many Geico commercials on TV. This website lets you access his apartment and look around.

The caveman has had some parties and you can see the aftermath. You can watch his videos and play his music. The caveman comes out from time to time and makes some funny joke. I think it’s really great and hope you have time to check it out!

Boating Heaven!

One of my favorite pastimes is to go boating. Ever since I was a young child, I have always enjoyed the water. I owe this to my parents who engrained the love of water in us. Some of my best memories involve being in the boat with my mom and dad. I remember when I learned to water-ski. It is something that I still enjoy doing today.

I like to take the kids out into the water as well. I hope to encourage them to learn how to swim and be safe in the water. I take them fishing and teach them all I know. I also like to put the boat into the water and just go explore. The river runs for miles and miles and I always like to see what is around the next corner. I’ll probably write more on this subject in the future as it is so close to my heart!

Google Earth Rules!

One of my favorite websites is Google Earth. I really like having the ability to travel to almost anywhere on the planet right from my living room. I was checking out how the city of Rome looks, and also went to Naples as well. I really like the street level feature that it has. Seeing how things really look in another country is so cool!

I also like to check out my house as well. I have been able to scout out the surrounding area and found some shortcuts I may take when riding my bike. I also found a patch of woods that I may check out as well. I am always drawn to this site for some reason, I don’t know why, but I am!

Another Easter Sunday!!!

Every year we like to go to church on Easter Sunday. It’s always fun to see all the people dressed up and looking good. The pastor of our church is always in fine form and delivers a great sermon. I think it’s a good thing to expose the kids to a religious experience and I hope that the good lessons will positively affect their lives.

One of my favorite things to do is to watch the young kids search for their Easter eggs. I think they are so cute as they run around looking for their prizes. I know that some of the kids are so happy to find an egg. After the long day is always nice to return home and relax. I like to reflect on all the great things that god has done for us and am thankful for his wisdom and patience!

Goodness it’s cold

Man is it ever cold up here on this mountain.  It’s even too cold to go skiing if you ask me.  I was going to go home for the weekend but decided against it because I was afraid the weather would turn bad up here like they were saying it might and then I would have to drive back up here in lousy weather.  Today is a good day to just stay inside, play my Nintendo Wii and chill out inside instead of freeze your rear end off chilling to the bone outside.  Besides, I can get a lot of exercise playing my Nintendo Wii.  That’s one of the things I love about it.  It gets you up off of the couch and makes you move.  Way cool game system!!!

Got some new vitamins

I am a wrestler and because of that, I try to use only natural products.  I don’t want to put chemicals into my body that might slow me down or make my mind sluggish, you know.  Well I found a great web site that has nothing but pure 100% natural vitamins and supplements.  Yeah you might pay a little more but what you get is worth it.

A lot of the vitamins you buy at the grocery store or drug store isn’t even absorbed into your body.  These are and that’s one of the things that I like.  Why pay less and get a lot less, ya know.  I have to stay healthy so when wrestling season kicks back up, I’m still strong and ready to pin them all.

Stupid groundhog!!!

Well according to that stupid groundhog, there’s going to be six more weeks of winter.  That’s about the dumbest thing I ever heard of, a groundhog seeing his shadow determining if it will be an early spring or not.  The critter has to be pulled out of his hole anyway so what makes them think pulling a groundhog out of his den while he’s sleeping to see if he will cast a shadow or not is a way to tell the weather?

If I was that groundhog, I’d bite them so they would leave me alone so I could go back to sleep.  I can be grumpy if I don’t get enough sleep and if they have to make him come out of his den, then he needs more sleep.  I could see if he comes out on his own early that would be a sign of an early spring or if he comes out late then winter is still around.  But then we wouldn’t know until we already knew.  The way I see it is if it’s still cold, then it’s still winter but if it gets warm then spring is coming early.  What do you think?
