All that stuff!

One thing we have a lot of is knick knacks. You know the things that we put on our shelves and seem to accumulate over the years. We have many kinds of things including but not limited too; candles, snow globes, figurines, rubrics cube, vases, and more! All these things are reminders of some place we visited or are gifts that we have received.

The bad part is that they are beginning to get in the way as we have too many to handle. I think I’ll pack some into boxes and out them in storage. The next bad thing is that it will only leave room for more! I’m sure that were going to need more shelves!

Where to get it

Since we do so much of our shopping online, we have found a few sites that we return to time after time. One of these sites is called zappos.com and it’s one of our favorites. We like to take advantage of their great prices and free shipping. I am also impressed by their 365 day return policy. All in all, it’s a good deal.

Whenever my wife gets on the site, she always finds something she wants. The other day she bought two pairs of Skirts that she just had to have. She always has to have something. The kids have been known to shop there too. My daughter found some Pajamas that she wanted and I got those for her. When my son found out that his sister got something, he didn’t want to be left out.

My son likes to shop online as he doesn’t like to go to the mall. I don’t blame him for that so I usually will but him whatever he wants online. He selected a pair of Pants that he liked and that was ok with me. The only thing left to do now is to find something for myself. Since everyone has made a selection, I might as well get something too.

The best brands

One thing everybody knows about our family is that we love to travel. We go many places and have taken advantage of many forms of transportation. Sometimes we go by boat, sometimes we drive or fly. However we go, we rely on having the proper luggage to ease our time away from home.

Last year at Christmas, I decided that since the kids needed new luggage I would get them some. On Christmas morning they were delighted to find some Hartmann luggage under the tree. I had found a pretty sweet deal on it and so I was glad of that. They really looked forward to trying it out and knew it wouldn’t be long before we did.

This year, I am thinking of getting my wife some new luggage. Hers is getting old and is a little worn around the edges. The handle is broken on one piece and a wheel is broken on another. I haven’t decided whether to get her the tumi luggage or the briggs and riley luggage. I know that I can’t go wrong either way. I am sure she will like the new items and will also be looking forward to our next trip!

Need a Cat?

The other day we made the mistake of feeding a cat in our neighborhood. It seems that this particular cat has been roaming around and is homeless. Now we can’t seem to get rid of her. We ended up taking her to the vet and had her fixed. We put up signs throughout the neighborhood hoping to find the owner. So far, we have had no luck.

Seeing as that she is getting along with the two cats we have already, we have invited her into our home. She seems to be very happy there and has adjusted well. She does eat like a horse though so it has taken quite a bit of money to keep her. We’ll see if we cannot yet still find the owner and give her back!

Clothes and more!

Since my secretary Beth from the office is expecting soon, I knew I would have to come up with a gift for her. I knew that she preferred to receive items for the baby and so I started looking into the situation. After scanning the internet, I found a site called loulouscorner.com that had the items I was looking for.

I thought that Beth would enjoy receiving designer baby clothes for the newborn baby. This is her first child and I know she wants to spoil her. The first item I found that I knew she would enjoy was from a collection from barefoot dreams. They have a selection of little robes and hoodies that I knew she would love. After deciding on that, I moved on to other items.

I know from my own experience that a child can never have enough shirts. That’s why I decided to purchase a sweet little t-shirt from appaman. I believe she’ll love the shirt and put it to good use. Of course, no child should go without a stuffed animal. That’s why I was sure to select one of the jellycat animals that were available. The best part about the whole thing is that I know I’ll be able to select something from this site as a gift for years to come and look like the best boss in the whole world!

Better Eating

We have been concentrating on what we eat lately and have made some changes to our diets. We felt that we would all be better off if we ate healthier and consumed a more balanced diet. Since we started, we have felt the positive effects of our efforts. I thought I might give everyone a clue as to what we are doing.

We are learning to eat more fruits and vegetables. They are good for you and should be the basis of a balanced meal. We also have cut out drinking soda. We installed a water tap which supplies our daily water intake which we have increased. Another thing we have done was to increase the amount of exercise we are getting. These few things have benefitted us greatly. I hope you will take our advice and try doing the same!

The Garage

Every once in awhile, it is prudent for me to spend some time in the garage. I love my woman, but sometimes it is necessary to let her have some breathing room. I don’t mind retreating into garage as there are many things I like about it. All my tools are there and I really enjoy using them whenever an odd project comes up. I can always work on the cars if I feel like it as well.

There are also other things to do as well. I have a dart board on the wall and may spend quite a bit of time playing the game. Sometimes I will work on the bikes and make sure they are in good condition. The garage is a place of refuge for me and I have grown to rely on its relaxing nature to keep me sane when times are hard!

A Secure Feeling

One thing that bothers me is the fact that my kids get home from school before I get home from work. While it’s true that we live in a pretty good neighborhood, you never know what could happen. A few weeks ago there was a break-in down the street and it honestly scared me. I can’t help but wonder what if my kids were home when a break-in occurred.

A shout out to John!

I just wanted to send a shout out to my friend John. He recently entered the hospital for some work on his plumbing if you will and we expect he will be out soon. John is a really great guy and we are all rooting for him to come through his operation with flying colors. I am glad to report that John has the love and support from his family and friends.

Fun for the kids

One thing that my wife and I agree on is the fact that we love our children. We are always looking for new ways to make them happy. Whenever they do things well, such as a school project or test, we like to reward them. Sometimes this is a special meal or a movie. Other times, we get them their favorite toys. When we buy toys, we usually do it online.

There are many advantages to buying toys online. They are usually cheaper than a toy store and many times can be delivered free. You can also expect to find a variety of toys such as Action Figures. Our kids love them and there are always new ones coming out. Another area to find excellent deals is in the Classic Toys department. My wife and I love buying these toys as it reminds us of the toys we used to own. There is nothing like a reminder from the past to make us open our wallets!

As much as we like to buy our favorite toys, the children are usually taken with the latest Kids Electronic Toys. They are always attracted by the flashing lights and noises that they make. Some of these toys are really fun to play with and I wish we had them when I was young. All in all, whatever kind of toys we buy; the kids always appreciate them and spend hours playing.
