Stocks High or Low??

There was a piece in the news today that was talking about the higher stock prices lately. It seems that people are bullish again on stocks and are paying good prices for them. There is some debate though whether the higher margins on stocks will remain high or tumble.

Some experts predict that companies will soon have to pay more for their workers in order to keep up with demand. Others predict that stocks will remain high and maybe even rise. I guess knowing the right answers will make somebody very rich!!

Good Christmas Sales

Many retail stores are reporting that sales this Christmas were good. The increase of sales over last year indicates that the economy is turning the corner and recovering. This was true even after a giant storm in the north east corner of the nation slowed down sales on the Sunday after Christmas.

The news is encouraging and hopes are high that the sales will continue to increase over the coming year. With the advent of gift cards, this is certainly possible. I am just glad that people are confident enough to start spending again!

Gas prices rising

I think that everyone who drives has realized that gas prices have been steadily rising over the last several months. The bad news is that the prices are expected to continue to rise over the next year. The cause seems to be increased demand from countries like china.

To add insult to injury, the oil companies are once again set to make record profits. This really gets my gall especially after all the money we spend cleaning up their messes. I hope our government will do something about this outrage!

Trade with Me

Despite the fact that the economy has not done so well this year, there is still some good news. What many people don’t realize is that many companies made record profits over the last several months. I know because I happen to own some stocks and bonds. I enjoy keeping track of their progress and like to see them grow in value.

Money Maker

The company I work for has been growing despite the hard economic times. One way we have accomplished this is by branching out into different areas of business. I was put in charge of a new division that was going to make sales of merchandise a higher priority. The problem we had was finding the merchandise at a price that was cheap enough to make a profit. That’s why I looked for Wholesalers who could provide the products cheaply.

I did a lot of research on the subject and found out some great information. I found that there are many Wholesale Products on the market. I also found that many of these items can be found online. That makes it easy to purchase them and get them into the hands of our sellers. I was confident that we would soon be making a lot more money.

Good Work

I work for a very large company. Despite the uncertain economic times, we are fortunate to be expanding. That is good news except for the fact that we have had some problems with having enough space to do our work in. That’s why we have decided to build some new buildings for our company. I play a role in that and it has been interesting to say the least.

One thing my company ask me to do is to have some input on the amount and types of cabling we needed for the new offices. I needed to find a Structured Cabling Contractor to install the wiring. Outsourcing

It seems that the news today is all about the economy and how bad it is doing. One thing that comes to mind is the fact that so many American jobs are being transferred overseas. I read an article today about how many things are no longer produced in the U.S. it was amazing to me and it’s no wonder our economy is doing poorly.

Many major industries have shipped their jobs overseas. It’s hard to believe that there are no TV’s made in America as well as no cell phones. We also buy nearly all of our shoes from overseas as well as our toys, steel, and baseballs. I hope our congress will realize that we need these jobs back and will work to get them back in the U.S. where they belong!

In these difficult economic times, many companies are thinking outside the box for ways to improve their bottom line. One company that is trying to do this is Wal-Mart. They are reported to be looking for locations that will be a lot smaller than the typical store we are used to. They are scaling down.

The company is hoping to reach more people by having a number of smaller stores in certain areas. In this way, they can specialize their products more efficiently and reach a broader number of customers. I’m glad they are thinking ahead and wish them luck.

The economy has been down for awhile now and some people are thinking it will do a lot better over the next year. I have been trying to find something I can do to help it along.
