The House, Our Home

The wife and I have been working to fix up the old homestead. We have had a wonderful time working together on various projects around the house. This year, we have concentrated a lot of our effort on the outside of the house including getting our lawn and gardens into shape. We think that the outside of the house is just as important as the inside. We have worked hard to find ways to improve the view of the house from the street.

One thing we are really happy about is the addition of an address plaque. We put the plague by the street and surrounded it with plants. We also added some rocks and figurines around it. It looks great and makes it easy to find our house. We didn’t know about home address plaques before, but now that we do, we are glad to have found one that fits our style.

One of our neighbors commented on the plaque and asked for more information about it. I told him to get on the internet and type in address plaques and he would find a place to get one for himself. I am sure that over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be seeing one in front of his house as well. While I am sure that our house will never be perfect, I am glad that we made this one fine addition.

I was listening to an interesting story today about a lady who was being spied on by a former boyfriend. The man had secretly installed spyware on her cell phone and was able to listen to her conversations as well as tell where she was. The technology is widely available online and works very well.

Anyone who thinks they may be a victim of this spyware has a few options for removing it. One way to do so is to reinstall the operating system of the phone. This will eliminate the spyware. Another option is to get a new phone entirely and that will end the threat. In today’s society you can never be too careful and knowing about things like this can help keep you safe!

They Fall So Fast

When the recession started to really take hold last year, the McDonald’s corporation was delighted. People started to flock to their stores as their low prices made them an affordable place to eat. They were high on the hog for awhile and were happy with their sales.

The bad part was that they had to offer incredibly low prices on their products which left them with little wiggle room. At this point, the economy is starting to recover but their sales are once again slipping. The company is hoping that the slow recovery of the economy will drive up sales and restore their profit margins. I hope they get what they want, not that I like anything that comes from McDonald’s except maybe their fountain drinks, sweet tea and their french fries. Other than that I have no use for the majority of their products.

Good Vacations

There are a few times in life when you really get to enjoy yourself. I am planning to do just that when I go on vacation this year. I have been looking forward to this year’s vacation as it’s been so cold here lately. I am ready for some sunshine and green grass. One of my passions is the wonderful game of golf. I know where to go when I really want to play. Great Jobs

There are many things I like about my job, but one of the best things is that I get to travel all over the country. The only problem with that is that it can be boring when you are stuck in a strange city with no-one to talk to. That’s why I was glad to find out about a site that can get you cheap seats. They were able to help me find tickets to some events like the New York Ranger Tickets I was able to purchase.

There was another time when I was able to find the hard to get Toyota Center Tickets so that I could view one of the WNBA games that was held that night. I certainly enjoyed that show and still remember it to this day. I had a great time and can’t wait to see the girls play again.

The best time I had was when I was able to score Ohio State Buckeyes Football Tickets. I got a great seat near the field and saw all the action. My friends were jealous and they all wished that they could come too. I guess that some jobs are better than others and I am glad that my job is a good one. One thing that I believe is really important is to make sure that you recycle your electronic items. Paying A Debt

Since the kids will be out of school in a couple of weeks, it’s time to pay off a debt. I had told my children that if they got good grades I would take them on a vacation to wherever they wanted to go. As you can imagine, the kids did their part and now its time to do mine. The only decision left was where to take them. It wasn’t long before I knew the answer when I saw their computer on a page about resorts in Myrtle Beach.

I have taken the kids there before and we had a great time. They both love the water and playing in the sandy beach. I also know that many of their friends have plans to visit the beach as well. It seems to be a popular destination for all the kids at their school. It’s also a great destination for adults as well. I was checking out their golf packages and was very impressed with the values I found there.

My wife is all for the idea as she enjoys the beaches as well. She likes to read her books while lying in the sun and working on her tan. She also likes to window shop along the many stores that are in the area. I found out she was looking online for more information about the area. I am sure that we will all have a good time on our vacation this year.

Improving The House

Over the last winter, we did a lot of work to the inside of our home. We painted and reworked our kitchen. We added some walls and finished our basement. We also bought many items such as furniture and rugs to improve the way our house looks inside. Since that work is mostly done, our attention has turned to the outside of the house. We were concerned about how our house looks from the street.

Of course we started with reworking the lawn. We added some garden space to the front yard and put in some bushes. The space looked good, but needed something more. We finally thought that adding a curbside mailbox would be a good idea. The only problem was deciding where to get one that would fit the style of our home. I went to the internet and found a site that had all the curbside mailboxes we could ever want.

The site was called mailboxixchange.com and they had what we were looking for. Since they had so many curbside mail boxes to choose from, it was hard to decide which one was the best for us. We finally decided on one that we all liked. Now that empty spot is filled and we are very happy with the results of our efforts.

What Did You Say?

One thing about the daily life around our office is that it is never boring. We have an assortment of odd things happening all the time. One such event occurred the other day when we received instructions for a new copier that was all in Chinese. Since we needed the copier up and running soon, we had to find an answer to the problem. Needless to say, we were in a bind and needed a translator to make sense of the words.

Lucky for us, I was able to find a cool website that offers translation. The site can translate your documents quickly and easily. The best part was that the translation was very fast and we were able to use our copier in no time. I was glad that I was able to solve the problem so quickly.

Since I was on the site anyway, I decided to check it out. It seems that they offer online translation for nearly every language.  I was very happy about that! I guess the next time we have need of a translation, at least I will know where to go!
