Some good news

One thing our family is happy about is the fact that our cousin Dave has decided to come home to America. He moved abroad several years ago for a new job and has now reached a level where he can come home. We are all waiting for him to arrive. The only problems he has now is tightening up a few loose ends and deciding which International Removals company to use.

Dave has acquired many things over the last several years that he wishes to bring home. He is a very particular person and won’t stand for second rate service. That’s why he took great pains to find the right Removalists for him. He did so by going online and learning all about the industry and those who would be able to satisfy his needs.

The site he found gave him all the information he needed to find the best Removal Companies around. He is now in the process of moving back to the states and we are all glad to see him again. I guess it’s just a matter of time before he is up to his old antics. While that could be a bit trying for us, we will be glad to have him back and that is good news for us all.

Tuna pays big

The Japanese has always been known for their love of a great tasting fish. This was once again made true by the actions of one Japanese restaurateur. He paid a record amount of money for one blue fin tuna that cost him about $736,000 dollars. He had the winning bid at an auction at the Tsukiji fish market.

The owner of the restaurant paid the record breaking price saying that he wanted his customers to enjoy the fish. These fish are ready to be put on the endangered species list and are on the verge of being fished to extinction. I hope his customers enjoy the meal.

Ringing in the New Year with all of my loved ones

Guest post written by Cynthia Reynolds

It seems like the past couple of years we’ve had a lot of trouble getting the family together for New Year’s. We used to have these big parties when the kids were much younger, but they’ve all been doing their own thing in the recent past. So I planned months ago for us to host a little party at our house and have the kids invite some of their friends. They seemed receptive to it so that’s what we’re doing.

I’ve been planning out every single detail that I can find. While I was online looking up some of that stuff, I ran across the website miracle-ear.com. After I looked through it a little bit I decided to go and get fitted with some hearing aids.

I have found all kinds of neat ideas, including some games for the younger kids to play. It can be tough to keep kids occupied at things like that, but I’m really going to try and make sure that everyone has as good of a time as possible when they come to the party.
