Invest in the best

Whenever you do any kind of work, it’s always good to have the best tools. This is very important in my field of work as there is little room for error. Since I will soon be able to order some new equipment, I was looking at the Custom Computers that are available. After I had done a bit of research on the internet, I found a site called howardcomputers.com that offers a large amount of information on the type of Custom Computer I wanted.

Since I had mentioned this site to one of my co-workers, he was interested in what I found out. He needs a Custom Laptop to carry with him on his rounds. I was happy to inform him that they carry a selection of Custom Laptops as well. Another fact is that the prices are reasonable and well within our budget. I also heard that this particular company has a good reputation for being helpful and courteous.

It will be a happy day when I am finally able to order my new computer. I am looking forward to being on the leading edge of technology. I know my friend is looking forward to it as much as I am. All in all, I think we will both be happy with the decision we made to invest in the best!

Oil and us

Now that the oil is all over the Gulf of Mexico, people are wondering how to clean it up. One of the first orders of business is to contain it. This is usually done by using a containment boom that ropes in the oil until it can be removed by workers. The problem is that the booms are not working as intended and many people are frustrated with the situation.

The first problem is that there are not enough booms to contain the massive spill. The next problem is that it is difficult to lay them out and keep them in place. Some only work in shallow calm waters while others are intended for the deep ocean currents. I have heard that many in congress are looking into the situation and I hope they come up with some sort of answer soon.

Tricks of the trade

The work that I do makes it necessary that I travel a lot. From week to week, I never know where I’ll end up. I like seeing the different places I travel to and the new people that I meet. The only real problems I have are when my transportation breaks down. This happened to me on the last trip I went on, but I feel lucky that I was able to find a place to get my car repaired.

Knowing the tricks of the trade can help you overcome any problems you may face. One trick I use is a website called repairpal.com. When the honda accord I was driving started making funny noises, I knew I would have to stop and have it looked at. I used repairpal.com to find the best San Francisco auto repair shop around. I went there immediately and had the car looked at.

I was fortunate to be seen right away and it only took a few minutes for the mechanic to discover that my timing belt had gone bad. I had a new one installed and was back on the road quickly. It just goes to show how using the internet can help fix the problems that always pop up while I’m on the road. I hope I can learn a few more tricks like that!

Bottles and Cans

I recently attended a picnic at a local college. So as not to embarrass them I won’t say the name. Anyway, when the picnic was over I walked past a line of garbage cans. The cans were full of plastic soda cans and aluminum cans as well. I was shocked that all these recyclable things were being thrown away. It was a shame.

I mentioned the fact to one of the teachers and she agreed to look into the situation. While I am all for picnics, I believe that a major institution should make more of an effort to keep the world clean. I hope that all major institutions will take a look at their recycling policies and revise them where necessary!

Silly Bandz???

I have lived a long time, but I never heard of a Silly Bandz until now. Kids enjoy wearing these silly bracelets at school and they are catching on nation wide. The problem is that they are being banned by schools as they say they are a distraction. It’s become a battle between students and teachers.

Silly Bandz were first marketed a couple of years ago by Robert Croak. They have caught on around the nation and are sported by kids who love their looks. They are even becoming a tradable item. I think that teachers should let the kids express themselves and banning a bracelet will only cause kids to believe that parents are the enemy.
