One thing we have to look forward to every year is the Macy’s parade. Watching all the floats go by is always fun for me as I like to be reminded of the many characters that have taken a place in our lives. I also like to hear the marching bands that fill the air with their joyous music.
One thing that will be different this year is the fact that the parade route will change. Instead of going down the main street of Broadway, the parade will take a more circular route that will end at the flagship Macy’s store at Herald Square. I hope the balloon handlers and marching bands will be able to negotiate the new route. If not, it may be fun to see what happens.
