Taking Size in Consideration

Thinking hard about installing a whole new bathroom vanity and sink for the master bath here at the farm. The plumbing leaves a lot to be desired and needs updating badly, but that will have to wait until next year some time.

Bathroom vanities are not something that I really have paid much attention to in the past, but now that I have had to look and deal with this prehistoric model that has been here in the house since day one, I have been taking a look around on the Internet to get some ideas to ponder on.

I will forward the links to the Bathroom Vanities that I find and like online by email, to my older sister for her consideration, something that I find myself doing with most major decisions that come around regarding this old house and home. She has a vested interest in the place and I like to keep her in the loop for many reasons, and it’s just a common courtesy in my mind.

So far I have found one such Bathroom Vanity that looks promising, the bathroom is not big at all and I need to take that in consideration and find one on the petite and small side although I would like to be able to have room to install a Double Vanity. Maybe when I redo the bath on the upper level in the place, I can get one then.

Post Secrets

Sis was telling me about a website that she had just heard of called PostSecret.com and she just sent me the link and I think everyone should check out it. PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard.

It really is interesting/fascinating to read other people’s secrets, that sounds weird doesn’t it, but it is true and certainly nothing new.  Once you are on the site you can click on PostSecret video it is where people video their secrets and send them in, there are some strange videos in there.

So if you have some time and want to read some interesting thoughts that are in peoples heads you gotta check this one out.

Dating Issues Today

I may sound old-fashioned but I just talked with my youngest sister about this and she says that I’m too conservative. But I really feel strongly that when a guy asks a girl out on the first date, when the bill arrives it should be the guy that pays. It’s just the thing to do to make her feel special and his best chance to impress his date.On later dates and different circumstances, if the girl agrees in advance to go “dutch” then that’s OK. But the first date is all about impressing the other person, and a guy who comes off as broke or cheap just isn’t going to make the cut.

Trade Up and Save

The idea of being able to Trade Up and Save appeals to me since keeping an old outdated computer around just doesn’t make sense to me. My PC is a total dinosaur and I need a newer one, big time. So I’ve been checking out cheap desktops online and found a site that offers display models at big discounts as well as the opportunity to trade up as well. A double bonus that will hopefully get me and my computer needs and wants taken care of soon.

I have always tried to do what is best for our planet, our country and my health, without good health the deck is stacked against you, and can’t afford that gamble.
