Lots of things on my mind….
The weather man is promising a nice weather week end, a couple of friends and family members have promised to come and lend a hand at the place during that time. My one sister is coming with her kids and are promising to lend a hand and keep everyone feed and well hydrated, maybe even a bar b que would be a good plan.
There is so much to be done around here, I’m glad to have the extra help, some company and some decent food for a change.

Every spring I get so anxious after planting the gardens in the back, I can’t wait to see what will be popping up and how fast, and what seeds have been eaten by birds or squirrels and need re-planting. We have gotten the first half way decent snow fall of the year, although it only amounted to a couple of inches and then turned to ice as soon as the sun went down. It would be nice to get a real good blanket of six inches or more, that would make the idea of dragging out the snowmobile and go for a nice long ride, we certainly have enough land to make a good time of some snowmobiling for several hours.
SLEDtv.org has some great snowmobiling videos that are always interesting to watch and learn from, their well established forum is always full of good stories and information about this sport that just isn’t get much attention, with our lack of a good snow fall so far this year. We still have over a month to go before spring comes back around and the farm will be getting way to busy to even think of taking a ride.
