It’s All About Gold

Since I live and work on a farm there is no gold IRA  or gold 401k for me in the near future.  From what I’ve been reading online, the big thing now is gold being the number one alternative for the Pension Plans that most white collar workers have at their disposal through their employer. Times are increasingly becoming more uncertain, while gold is always a good investment and always has been.

Gold Coins Gain has a very informative website that has a ton of good reading all about gold. Their History of Gold Coins is something that everyone should read and learn about. It is well written and an easy read that can be found at the bottom of all of their pages, so you can’t say that you can’t find it anywhere! They also offer a free Gold Guide that I have all ready ordered for myself, that I can’t wait to receive in the mail soon.

Did you know that the central banks of the world, governments and other institutions have been hoarding gold, along with increasing their gold holdings, getting away from the paper assets that have been around for a good long while.  People are being advised to learn all that they can while stating that gold will add stability, growth and protection in your portfolio of investments.

So even if you don’t have an IRA gold or 401k gold option there are other ways to get your hands on the world’s oldest asset of choice and Gold Coins Gain has the information that you need to jump on the bandwagon, there is still enough gold to go around. I for one don’t want to miss out on a great opportunity, so I plan on reading my free gold guide cover to cover and find the right option for me, because I don’t think that there is a hidden stash of gold around here that I can count on keeping my head above water for the next couple of decades, believe me I have looked!

Customer Satisfaction Surveys

With money so tight, all the way around and across the board, as consumers we are all looking for ways to save money, while businesses are searching for ways to drum up business and bring our hard earned money into their bank accounts. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not dissing anyone running a business, just stating a hard fact.

It seems that customer satisfaction surveys are a growing way for companies to hear how they are doing as well as finding ways to bring their current customers coming back. I don’t mind taking these surveys if there is something in it for me, not just the promise of being entered into some sweepstakes that the odds are completely stacked against me winning anything at all.

There are a few places that if you complete one of their customer satisfaction surveys that you will be given a code to write some where on your receipt so that you will receive some type of discount on your next purchase, those are surveys that I have no problem taking the time to complete. I always don’t mind a quick survey that only takes a few moments online since I’m on a computer some where most of the day. The kinds that I really refuse to complete are the kinds that come in the mail, no time for that and I don’t appreciate them junking up my mailbox with such trivial concerns.

Someone Has To Do It

All of this rain is costing a fortune for so many good people, I’m sure the insurance companies are not at all happy with all of the claims that have been pouring in the past couple of months either. Cleaning and Restoration businesses have been experiencing a very good profitable year, and I hear that there is now a shortage of carpet drying fans austin texas area and these companies are scrambling for any type of fan that will help them during this extremely busy rainy season. This was the big topic of conversation at the Barber Shop early this morning. I couldn’t take another day of having my hair too long with the heat hitting us all ready this spring.

The Steam Team website is getting hit after hit after hit these days. A good website can make a big difference in today’s competitive world. The Steam Team has really expanded their cleaning services and are offering a large variety of other services as well that are listed online for online shoppers, much like myself. Word of mouth is still the best advertising, but the Internet has quickly climbed right up there and there is no excuse not to have a website if you are in any kind of business these days.

Pet Peeves

One of my biggest pet peeves is the spamming issue, this is something that is continuing to get worse and not better and I just have to get it off of my chest.

I am so sick and tired of getting all of these spammed messages every single day, that state “I didn’t agree with you first, but last paragraph makes sense for me…” especially when the post is absolutely not about anything that could be agreed or disagreed upon! These folks need to at least put some type of thought into their comments! At least take the time to actually read the postings and than make your comment relevant to it, it really is not that difficult to do.

Computers and the Internet have made things so much easier for us and it is has become for us all a huge time saver, it really bites to get bogged down with such trivial nonsense.

A Good Friend Gone Bad

I got a phone call last night from an old friend who called to tell me that a good friend of ours from back in the good old days had just passed away behind bars in the prison that he was serving time in for kidnapping. I had no idea that this guy was doing time and I certainly didn’t know that he was into kidnapping. I did know that he had done some time in the 90’s for robbing a bank, but I had thought that he had turned his life around, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case.

As much as this guy turned into a total waste of a human being, I still hate the thought that he died in prison. Plus his two children, who are adults at this point, will have to live not only with the thought of their father spending so much of their life doing time but his life ending alone and behind bars.

Affordable Bass Tabs

Good that that the bass tabs aren’t as pricey as I first thought they would be. You see my sister’s youngest son, my nephew Jeff, is going to be celebrating his 16th birthday in the second week of July. We are throwing him a good sized party to celebrate the birthday of all birthdays.

Sixteen, old enough to be behind the wheel. Hopefully close to being out of high school and most guys start shaving and trying to deal with what to do with all the facial that is sprouting all over their face. LOL!

Two more years and you will be legal,  you can vote and join the military if that is your choice. Five more years you can legally drink. And it’s all down hill from there!

Water-Based Fogger

One thing that always gets me is when I see someone on TV singing and/or dancing while there is a fog machine(s) spewing all this stuff into the air that they are trying to utilize to stay alive while entertaining. I’ve always heard that it makes it a bit more of a challenge for the artists so I don’t understand why they allow these interesting and entertaining pieces of technology to be used.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not the kind of person that thinks the government needs to tell us what we can and/or can’t do. All of the rules and laws that are increasingly being passed, in an effort to “keep us safe”. But to me it just makes sense that this is a safety issue, something that should be addressed. I was looking at a Fog Machine the Chauvet Hurricane 1300 which is the one that my nephew is currently saving up to purchase.

He is in a band. A typical “Garage Band” that has an occasional booking that they want to start using a fog machine for to “step it up a bit.” Of course he won’t listen to me or anyone else about the concerns of using a fog machine, so I figured I would learn a bit more about them on the computer. I’ve got to say that I was surprised at how affordable they are.

You know the old saying “If you can’t beat them join them”? Well there you go. Do I have to say anything more?

Being Single

I love my sister, all of them actually, but my one sister, who lives in New Jersey has it in her head big time, and she is trying very hard to get me hooked up and married off. She has made this one of her lives missions and is constantly trying to get into my business.

It’s not that I wouldn’t like to meet a young lady, but right now the farm is my priority and is taking up all of my time, effort, blood, sweat, tears, money and love. There just isn’t enough of me to go around the place.

Sis found someone in her hometown that has been utilizing an online Dating Site with over 30 years of experience by the name of Great Expectations. Her new friend had many positive things to say about how this company goes the extra mile for their clients and she has made many new friends, online and at local functions that they host frequently. Sis then found out that there is one of their offices in Richmond, VA, which isn’t far from the farm and she immediately sent me an email with all of their information and the link for the site.

I’ll take a look around, might as well, just can’t promise anything, but it wouldn’t hurt to look since I spend what little extra time that I have online anyway.

Monsters Inside of Me

I usually enjoy watching programs on The Animal Planet channel, but they have a new one that is really gross that is called “Monsters Inside of Me” the commercials are bad enough but I’ve watched a few of their episodes and really didn’t enjoy it enough to keep watching after about 10 or 15 minutes.

My favorite show on The Animal Planet is “It’s Me or The Dog” this lady named Victoria does wonderful things for these people that have some major issues with their dogs. I think she has a great television career ahead of her and she is teaching nothing but good things for dogs and people a like here folks. That’s is good thing!
