An Extra Buck or Two

I have been hearing so much about this very interesting concept of online advertising that a few of my friends are getting into on the Internet. I’ve been told that you can sign up and register your personal blog and advertisers will pay you to write about their products and services for the ever growing world of Internet shopping.I have been told that a good informational website about this blogging concept is run by socialspark.com and today I have been taking a look see in an effort to understand and possibly get intothis new buzz. I seem to be always looking for new and creative ways to make an extra buck in order to save the farm, the house and all that goes along with it

This website is social media where bloggers can connect with advertisers in order to help these business attract more visitors to their site and hopes of making a sale with today’s online shoppers. .

Moving Along…

Man have things been hopping around the farm, as I knew it would. The weather has been perfect for the spring time planting season and I’ve gotten a lot done before the rains came this morning. The rain’s timing couldn’t have been any better. I’ve been doing most of the work myself and I haven’t been getting much sleep and lord knows I haven’t been eating well either, but things have been moving right along.

My stomach has been giving me some issues for a few months now, and now that I’m so busy, run down and not eating the right foods, so I’m looking into a natural colon cleanse product. I understand that it can do wonders for so many health issues, so I’m taking the time tonight to check out some information on the Internet about this process and the products that are out there that will do the job safely and efficiently.

Mother’s & Father’s Day

This year these two up and coming dates will have a tremendous impact on the whole family, since the death of both of our parents is still so new. No holiday is or will be the same for some time to come, but we are all trying our best to deal with the bitter sweat memories that holidays deal us that are dealing heavily with our loses.

Alaska

I do enjoy reading a good book at night while trying to fall asleep. I have read many of James A. Michener’s books and having always learned so much from them all. I just started reading his book, Alaska, it is a fairly large paper back that will keep me entertained for some time with over 1,000 pages full of entertainment and education of the great state of Alaska.

Maternity Clothes Have Come a Long Way

The variety and selection of nice maternity clothes has certainly increased since back in the day. I have located a box full of photos that have been tucked away here at the house for god knows how long and spent last evening looking at a good amount of them. A nice stroll down memory line it was, one that I took alone and took my time with.

I come from a large brood of kids and my mother spent a good amount of time pregnant, according to these photos my mother didn’t gave a large selection of clothes to wear during these times she spent expecting, while tending to the other kids, my father and the house and farm duties. I imagine a lot of her maternity clothes were hand made, but some were obviously store bought but pretty lame looking in comparison of what today’s fashions dictate, but then again that was life on the farm.

At Kikisfashions.com they have a tremendous amount of trendy, fashionable and unique maternity clothes that are completely opposite of the old big and box style clothes that were once available back then. Bloggers and blogfriends can now receive an exclusive 20% off their online orders by using the coupon code of “blogfriend” during checkout time to apply.

Harvest

I have to admit that I’m not the most creative pumpkin carver on Earth. I have carved pumpkins for many years, but they tend to be average pumpkin faces. You know, the triangle eyes and the toothless evil grin. So I appreciate the talent when someone makes a more clever face, like these. Just need a little imagination and good effort.

This years harvest will be an interesting one, only time will tell how well the place fairs this year, being the first year I’ve had the responsibility of the whole kit and caboodle. But I’m looking forward to it and praying for good weather!

Cash for Recycling

Back in December, during Christmas dinner, the subject of recycling beer and soda cans came about, in which I found out that there is a local company that will pay you cash for these types of cans. The price just recently went down from sixty seven cents per pound, to thirty two cents a pound, what a drastic price drop, but all the same I am now making an effort of sorting these two types of cans into a separate container on the back porch and when I get a dozen big trash bags or so I will take a trip downtown and see what kind of cash it brings in to the household.I all ready sort and recycle, so it will not take too much of an added effort in order to bring in a few bucks now and then.

Fleas are Ready

With so many animals around the house and farm, flea control is a big issue. With the warm weather coming up ahead the fleas are ready to invade at any moment and I want to be ready and on top of the issue. The Internet has come into play, once again, with good dog flea treatment information that has given me good ideas concerning these cruel pests that drive the farm dogs and cats absolutely crazy each season.
