Discount Scrubs at Blue Sky Scrubs Online

I’ve decided to find some nice looking discount scrub sets for my sister’s birthday gift, for her up and coming birthday April 21st. Seems she is always looking for new clothes to wear to the hospital where she has been working at now for all most a year now. I’m so proud of her for going back to school and doing what she knew she had to do in order to gain employment in the medical field like so many other people have decided to do in these hard economic times. Since there will always be a need for medical professionals on this earth, it is a pretty safe bet to get the education needed to get your feet wet and stay in the medical field.

I would love to get her one of those scrub caps or a couple of their nicer discount scrub tops. I’ll have to check and see what all they have. It is so nice to be able to just jump in the computer and check on things such as this. If I had to get in the truck and drive all the way into town to find her something my options would be so limited. My sister deserves something nice that she wants for her birthday, she does so much for the entire family while taking care of her own family, and then taking care of people at the hospital as well. My sister – The Care Taker – who would have thought that 20 years ago when she was busy being a tom boy and beating the tar out of the neighborhood bullies that were terrorizing her brothers and her sisters alike.

The Evening News

I used to watch the news at least once a day, if not more, since you can almost always find a news program on 24 hours a day with pay TV in so many homes and businesses. But the past year or so I have gotten so disgusted with all the bad news overwhelming the majority of these news programs and I’ve stayed away from watching them. I can find anything that I need online, when I have the need and the time to digest it.

Looking for a new camera

Spring is just around the corner and I really could use a new camera.  My old camera is about six years old and just a bit of a dinosaur.   I don’t have all day to sit on the computer and search for cameras and photography and I’m sure that’s true for most people.

Besides, I’m not sure just what type of camera I want.  There are so very many different types and styles out there.  I love a site that tells you about more than just one type of camera and gives you information of several.  I was thinking about a Cannon PowerShot and found everything I needed to make my choice.  I didn’t know there were so many different types of them either.

Dressing Up Like A Big Girl For The Prom

My sister’s oldest daughter, Kim, is getting excited about graduating from high school this June. She is going to take a year off and then head to college the following year, or at least that is the plan as of now. The way things change around here you are never really sure until it happens. Kim is a smart kid and has the capability to do some pretty cool things in her lifetime, so we have all done our best to try and keep her right on track. This hasn’t always been easy, but 5 months to go and then she will be on her own.

Right now one of the concerns is her finding the best looking of the evening dresses for prom night which is a big deal in our small town. Since we don’t really live near a big city with a large mall to shop in you either have to go out of town to find your evening and/or prom dresses and hope that no one else goes there and buys the same one. Or you can shop online and find the perfect dress since there is still plenty of time. There are great deals to be found online, sites that are offering free shipping and accept PayPal always get my vote and my business.

Hard to believe that Kim will soon be eighteen and will be leaving the nest. I’ve watched her grow and have been very active in her life and I believe that she has a good head on her shoulders and that she won’t let us all down.

Not Too Old To Learn About The Stock and Online Trading

Now I know that I don’t look or act the type of guy that would be interested in Mobile Trading, IRA Accounts and all the other things that tie into what  Online Trading is all about these days. But I’ve heard so much about Stock Trading from a variety of folks that have found alternative ways to bring a decent income in such a screwed up economy that we have all found ourselves suffering from. With no light seemingly in sight at the end of this ever growing tunnel it is all too overwhelming and people are getting more desperate with each passing day, I’m sorry to say.

I’ve had, in the past, Mutual Funds, so I’m familiar with this type of financial gamble that I personally lost a good amount of my hard earned money in a matter of months. But Stock Trading and the use of an Online Broker are just a bit more over my head and I’d really like to start learning more about all of these Stock!s, Options, EFTs and Fixed Incomes for a starter I have a distant cousin who has consented to come over either Saturday or Sunday of next weekend and spend some time with me on my laptop and show me some of the ropes that he has been learning and finding out about the last 9 months or so. Even my eldest sister might join us to listen in and find out for herself in case she becomes interested as well. It is something that we could do together and learn together and possibly earn some money together. We will see how it pans out after the first initial meeting, so to speak.

The New 2011 Scion IQ Micro-Sub Compact

Have you seen or heard of the new 2011 scion iq that is the talk of the town, so to speak.  It is being designated as the friendly competitor of The Smart Car that we all have seen buzzing down the roads these past couple years. I don’t know anyone that owns one so that I can get their opinion on these tiny little mini vehicles. I guess I could go down to the dealership and take one out for a test drive one day. I’d like to see how they handle on the roads and at 55 MPH or more.

This scion iq launch is a mighty big to do for the micro-sub compact industry. We are finding the need for much smaller vehicles that don’t eat up as much energy as the vehicles that we have grown accustomed to. These are some pretty cool looking little cars and I’m sure we will be seeing them up and down our roads here real soon. It will be interesting to see people’s reactions to them.

A good New Year’s Resolution to adhere to these days is to try and make a better effort to become as “green” as humanly possible. Living on a farm most of my life I have learned many ways to help our Mother Earth in various ways. The good lord knows that we have been into recycling before it was the “in” thing to do. I thought streaking was outdated

I was amused to read in the BBC website that a polo match that was attended by Prince Charles was interrupted by three male streakers.  I thought that streaking was long out of style!  I haven’t heard of any streakers recently in the USA!  I wonder if streaking is a frequent occurrence in other parts of the world?
