Enhance Your Theme With Beach Wedding Favors

Wedding favors leave a lasting impression on your guests. While I was looking into different types of wedding favors I found that there really is a huge variety of favors to choose from for every theme you can imagine. Today, I’m going to talk more about Beach Wedding Favors.

How exciting would it be to have a beach wedding out by the water and be able to listen to the relaxing waves as they come crashing in on the shore. You can offer the perfect wedding favor to help your guests remember this special occasion at the beach.

Enhance your wedding theme by including the beach wedding favors as part of your decor. Use the wedding favors as place card holders at the tables for your guests. Sea shells, sand dollars, or star fish can help add a little pizazz to your table. Add these little tokens to tea light votive holders and you have an instant beach wedding favor. Include some sand  to hold the candle in and it will remind everyone of the wonderful time they spent with you at the beach.

Another festive way to commemorate your beach wedding could be to chose a functional item with a twist. A great example of this would be to give away a classic wine or bottle stopper but with a beach element on top like a starfish. Your guests will definitely appreciate the thought and detail you put into the favors you offer them.

Horrible Head Ache Won’t Go Away

Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow! My head hurts and I’ve tried everything to make this stupid head ache go away. I’ve had a horrible head ache for the past two days and all I feel is yuck. My head is pounding and aching. It’s starting to make my back hurt and my eyes hurt.

I’ve done all of the normal things that you can do to do to get rid of a head ache but nothing has seemed to work. I wonder if it’s brought on by stress. Seems as if more and more people are demanding my energy and time, and as many times as I say “NO” some people just refuse to take “NO” for an answer!

Maybe all I need is some time for peace and relaxation.  Maybe a nice hot bubble bath with some beautiful scented aromatherapy candles lit in the bathroom.  I think lavender would be great for just the occasion  Lavender is supposed to be calming and soothing.  Well, I need it to calm and soothe my head ache away.  It might be nice to have some relaxing music in there too with me.  I’m not sure if I want jazz or just some nice classical.

I’m off to try to rid myself of this disgusting headache.  If you have any cures that work for you let me know.

Decorating With Candles

The perfect lighting makes a big difference in everything.  I’m working on redoing our home decor and want to add just the right touches of light with candles throughout our home.  We have two children so decorating with real candles can be very tricky.  We have to make sure the candles are not lit when the children are around for fear of burning.  If they are lit when the children are present, they need to be in tough to reach places.

In order to circumvent the dangers and hassles associated with traditional flame candles, I’ve decided to decorate our home with battery operated lights. I don’t just mean spot lights and such and dimmers, I mean flameless candles.  Flameless candles mean we don’t have to worry about one of the kids reaching up and grabbing a flame and getting burned.  They are much safer.  We don’t have to worry about remembering to blow the candles out before going to bed or leaving the house.  They really make me feel a lot safer than using traditional candles.

LED tea lights will make a nice addition to our living room and dining room.  I like how we can set them in any votive holder and they will flicker just like a normal candle would.  The soft candle light glow is what I’m after, not the danger of the flame. I also like the idea that I won’t have to have bags of tea lights on hand to replace all of the time once they burn out.  The only thing I’ll have to replace will be the occasional battery.  I’ve even seen the kind of tea lights that are rechargeable.  That sounds like my kind of candle.  I won’t have to store extra candles or extra batteries.

I enjoy the glow of candles when I want to relax, so may I’ll pick up some extra candles to use in my bathroom for when I want to take long, hot baths.  It wouldn’t hurt to add a few lighting touches to our master bedroom either.  For the bedroom though I think I will go with the kind of candles that look like real melting candles but are still battery operated.  I’ll get the look I still want and the peace of mind that flameless candles provide.
