Super Bowl

On Sunday the world gets a good look at one of the biggest surprises to ever make it to the Super Bowl. My favorite team the Arizona/St Louis Cardinals will play the Pittsburgh Steelers in what I think is the biggest surprise to ever make it this far in the football playoffs. The closest I can think of was the New York Jets of Joe Willie Namath who won the big game against the much better Baltimore Colts. Lets hope we get the same result from the Arizona Cardnials this weekend. GO CARDS!

Dogs

My sweet little dogs have lost their minds today, and I am pretty sure it is from being trapped inside. I am getting the same way, if the sun does not shine soon I fear we will lose our minds. Winter has been a very cold one this year, and I am ready for it to end. Spring will be meet with open arms and flowers this year. I guess as I get older the bad things in life last longer and are more brutal every year. I can not wait for spring and winter will be forgotten very soon, at least in my mind it will.

New President

Next week we get us a new President here in the United States, and I for one am not very excited over the coming events. I can not see a lot of change coming from other Presidents that we have had, they all come into the office full of piss and vinegar and then they come to realize that nothing really changes just the face in front of the camera. I wish Obama all the best he is going to need the whole country behind him and I am not sure if that is enough to make any major changes.

Elvis

The great Elvis Presley turns 74 this year and I have one set in stone rule that I must follow every year. I will not work on Elvis’s birthday or the day he died. I worked a couple of years ago on his birthday and I wound up wrecking my truck it cost me $5,000 not to follow my own stupid rules. So this year I am going to set on the couch with a peanut butter and banana sandwich and watch TV all day. There is a reason for all rules and this one is set in stone for me.

Ring in the new year

Last night was another of the most boring New Years Eves anyone in the world has ever spent. We went to bed at 10 pm and watched a bit of David Letterman like always and fell asleep before Craig Ferguson, which is a much better show than either Letterman or Leno. At least we were assured that there was no DUI in our plans for New Years Eve and we get to start the new year well rested and safe. I can not complain about being boring at least it does not cost us a lot of lawyer fees to start off the new year.
