Sick Pup

Something has made my puppy sick. All she wants to do today is go outside and eat grass. I’ve been told that grass is like Pepto Bismol for dogs. So I don’t mind taking her outside as much as she needs. But I am worried about what would make her sick in the first place? Will eating the grass really make her feel better? How long do I let her do this before taking her to the vet? I’m so worried!

Wild Horses

My favorite animals on Earth, second only to dogs, are horses. I love to watch these beautiful animals run.

Toss the Diet Drinks

Do you know that drinking zero-calorie diet drinks increases your hunger and cravings? The increased hunger causes increased caloric intake. I read about it online.

If you are getting frustrated with a weight-loss plan but still drinking diet drinks – this might be why your plan is not working out like you thought it would. If you switch to plain water when you are thirsty, this report about diet drinks suggests that you are much better off drinking water than drinking diet drinks.

Rodeo

The girls at work were talking about going to the rodeo next week. I have never been to a real rodeo. I think it would be fun. We might all go together and sit in the grandstands together. I hope some of the girls have been before so they know what is going on and what to do. I know they will have horses and bull riding. I don’t know what else to expect, but I’m sure it will be great.

Easter Bunnies

I love Easter. Everything is fresh and new and pretty. There are baby bunnies and baby chicks and ducks, families get dressed up to go to church, everyone eats a big meal together. It’s a happy time with family and good food. I hope your Easter is happy, too!

My dog named Mork

I figured we would go ahead and address the ‘Mork and Mindy” name issue right away and get it over and done with, right here and now. Not that I mind all the jokes and giggles, I have a sense of humor just like the next person, and I grew up enjoying the Mork and Mindy reruns that came on cable TV, but I just figured we could nip it in the bud, so to speak.

My parents had a sense of humor also, it certainly came into play when they purchased a puppy for me at the age of 4, and my parents the whole family decided to give this newest member of the family the name of Mork. Mork has been my best buddy and friend, much like in the TV series, since the day he arrived in our house oh so many years ago and still lives there with my folks and he makes my home coming even more exciting and something to look forward to and I can’t wait to see him and spoil him rotten. He is getting up there in years but still has plenty of spunk and I treasure the time that I spend with him, as always!
