Heck yeah we’re headed to the slopes.\u00a0 They aren’t but an hour or so from here and they have been making snow for a long time.\u00a0 It got cold enough to make snow early this year.\u00a0 Then there’s been several times that it snowed up to 6 inches at a time so there’s man made and real snow on the slopes.<\/p>\n
Mom got me some new skis for Christmas and my grandmother got me some new ski clothes too so I would be warm enough.\u00a0 She worries too much about me.\u00a0 Well I was her first grandchild and she helped raise me while Mom worked but then when I was almost 8 years old, my sister was born and Mom stayed home and took care of her.\u00a0 Anyway, I can’t wait to try out my new duds and skis.<\/p>\n
The last time we went skiing, Shane fell and ended up rolling head over feet down the hill and then rolled right into a tree.\u00a0 It was the funniest thing I have ever seen until we realized he had broken his leg.\u00a0 Then it wasn’t too funny.\u00a0 He was out of wrestling for the rest of the year too.\u00a0 That sucked because he’s a great wrestler.\u00a0 It really hurt the team last year but hopefully nothing like that will happen to any of us this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
