I like traditional stuffing, but I&#8217;m OK with trying something new. When I found this turkey recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who are not sure how to tell when turkey is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out.\u00a0 See what you think.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 &#8211; 15 lb. Turkey, thawed<\/li>\n<li>1 cup Land O&#8217;Lakes butter, melted<\/li>\n<li>1 cup dry stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is Good)<\/li>\n<li>1 cup un-popped popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER&#8217;S low fat version is best)<\/li>\n<li>Salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350 degrees.<\/p>\n<p>Brush turkey well with melted butter, salt, and pepper.<\/p>\n<p>Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan, making sure the neck end is toward the front of the oven, not the back.<\/p>\n<p>After about 4 hours listen for the popping sounds.<\/p>\n<p>When the turkey&#8217;s ass blows the oven door open and the bird flies across the room &#8230; it&#8217;s done.<\/p>\n<p>And, you thought I didn&#8217;t know how to cook &#8230; !!!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TURKEY RECIPE I thought this sounded good for people who are buying turkey for their holiday dinners!
