{"id":607,"date":"2011-10-17T18:56:03","date_gmt":"2011-10-18T00:56:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/suzistrauss.com\/?p=607"},"modified":"2011-10-17T18:56:03","modified_gmt":"2011-10-18T00:56:03","slug":"pumpkin-patch-trip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/worpal.com\/susiestrauss\/2011\/10\/17\/pumpkin-patch-trip\/","title":{"rendered":"Pumpkin Patch Trip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today we took the kids to the local pumpkin patch.\u00a0 We rode the hay ride and ran through the corn maze.\u00a0 We all got our faces painted too.\u00a0 The girls got cute little black cats painted on their cheeks.\u00a0 My hubby\u2019s face was turned into a skeleton.\u00a0 The girls thought he looked really spooky.\u00a0 I got a friendly jack-o-lantern painted on my cheek.<\/p>\n<p>It was a blast roving through all of the pumpkins trying to find the perfect one.\u00a0 There were pumpkins of all shapes and sizes.\u00a0 They had some award winning pumpkins that were bigger than the kids.\u00a0 I can\u2019t imagine how long it would take to carve some of those giant pumpkins, let alone clean out all of the pumpkin guts and seeds.<\/p>\n<p>After a while of wandering around and inspecting pumpkins we finally found the perfect ones.\u00a0 We brought them home and plan to carve them out soon.\u00a0 We don\u2019t want to do it too early for fear of them going bad.
