I’ve been around people with allergies and thought that basically, they consisted of sneezing, coughing, runny nose and itchy eyes.\u00a0 Well I found out the hard way that they are a lot worse than that to some people.\u00a0 One of the ladies that works in our office has ‘severe allergies’.\u00a0 Now that everything is trying to come out, her eye will swell completely shut and she has even had to use an epi-pin on herself too.<\/p>\n
If you don’t know what an epi-pin is, it’s a thing that you have to hit yourself in the leg with and a needle comes out and injects you with medication.\u00a0 This is used when someone is having an anaphylactic reaction or in other words, their throat is closing up and they can’t breathe.\u00a0 Once this is done, the person has to go to a hospital or their doctor at least.\u00a0 Scared the bee-jeebies out of everyone in the office.\u00a0 I honestly had no idea that allergies could be like that.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
