Sunday being Father’s Day, we took the kids and we headed down to Hubby’s parent’s homestead for a nice visit with the family. All went well, everyone behaved, kids and adults both. The weather was nice enough so that being outside for a good amount of the day was tolerable, sitting in the house all day is too much to ask so many people in such a small house and all.<\/p>\n
The drive down there is almost a two hour drive and we passed numerous gas stations and we noticed on the drive down how every single gas station had priced their gasoline at $3.99, it appeared as if no one wanted to be the first to hit the big 4 dollar mark. I thought it odd that every single station would have the exact price, that has never, ever happened before, there is usually a wide variety of prices being displayed by all of the different companies.<\/p>\n
On the way home we made sure to look at every station and indeed it was the case. I wonder what their prices are today, now that people are home after the Father’s Day holiday is over. Usually the companies raise the price right before a holiday – this holiday was just totally out of character for such a business.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
