{"id":22,"date":"2008-08-16T14:24:23","date_gmt":"2008-08-16T19:24:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aprilmichele.com\/?p=22"},"modified":"2008-08-16T14:24:23","modified_gmt":"2008-08-16T19:24:23","slug":"what-a-treat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/worpal.com\/aprilmichaels\/2008\/08\/16\/what-a-treat\/","title":{"rendered":"Surprise visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There was a gospel group that had come to a local church to sing and decided to stop by here.\u00a0 They had stayed here a few years ago and wanted to come by and say &#8216;Hi&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>They graced my patrons with a mini gospel singing.\u00a0 They were even better than I remembered them being.\u00a0 They sang a few of the old standards and some original songs the members had composed themselves.\u00a0 The children were dancing and several of their parents were singing along with them.\u00a0 It was a wonderful treat.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the people even gave money to the group for them entertaining them even though there was no charge.\u00a0 There are still some good people in the world, we just have to take the time to see them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There was a gospel group that had come to a local church to sing and decided to stop by here.\u00a0 They had stayed here a few years ago and wanted to come by and say &#8216;Hi&#8217;.
