{"id":593,"date":"2014-12-08T09:29:22","date_gmt":"2014-12-08T14:29:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/abbyvanburen.com\/?p=593"},"modified":"2014-12-08T09:29:22","modified_gmt":"2014-12-08T14:29:22","slug":"chilly-for-chili","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/worpal.com\/abigailvanburen\/2014\/12\/08\/chilly-for-chili\/","title":{"rendered":"Chilly for Chili"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend is supposed to be very chilly.\u00a0 After receiving buckets of snow and rain all in the same day we are now going to freeze and so is the fallen precipitation.\u00a0 Nothing goes better on cold day than a piping bowl of chili.<\/p>\n<p>I was surfing the Internet for a new recipe for chili because I do not think that I want to use my old standby.\u00a0 I came across multiple recipes for chicken chili. \u00a0I have never had chicken chili but it sounds delicious!\u00a0 Many of these recipes call for corn in it which makes it even more hearty and yummy.\u00a0 Currently, I am undecided on whether I am going to use water, chicken broth or cream of chicken soup as a base. \u00a0I really think water will be too bland and cream of chicken soup too creamy therefore I guess my only option will be the chicken broth.<\/p>\n<p>The best part of both recipes is that the whole thing goes into my crock pot.\u00a0 I love my crock pot.\u00a0 Have to throw all the ingredients in and leave it for the day!<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2350\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2350\" style=\"width: 232px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2350\" src=\"http:\/\/abbyvanburen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/crock.jpg\" alt=\"slow cooker\" width=\"232\" height=\"161\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2350\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Chile In A Crock Pot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend is supposed to be very chilly.\u00a0 After receiving buckets of snow and rain all in the same day we are now going to freeze and so is the fallen precipitation.\u00a0 Nothing goes better on cold day than a piping bowl of chili.
